Pictou Mutual Insurance Company is governed by a Board of Directors comprised of twelve policyholders who have received and regularly attend ongoing training and education in the insurance field. They are professionals who dedicate their part-time hours and energy to the supervision and governance of our company.
The Board meets no less than four times per year and the Directors also serve on one or more sub-committees that examine such issues as Underwriting & Rates, Human Resources, Investments, Conduct Review, Audit, etc. to ensure that all aspects of our company’s operations are kept running smoothly by our competent and dedicated staff.
